ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil (olive, sesame or preferred cooking oil)
- 2 tbsp Derlea Ginger, Garlic & Chili
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 3/4 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 beef sirloin steaks, cut into thin strips (1cm by 5 cm thick)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup snap peas
- 1 ½ cup white rice
Directions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook for 5 minutes, or until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Meanwhile, cook rice according to the package instructions.
- In the same skillet, bring to medium-low heat and add broccoli, snap peas, Derlea ginger, garlic and chili. Cook the vegetables for 5-8 minutes, stirring often.
- In a bowl, combine broth, cornstarch, and soy sauce until smooth. Add the mixture to the skillet and cook, stirring, until it thickens.
- Return the beef to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve the beef and vegetables over the cooked rice.
